Training and Boarding
All dogs at Colmorg Kennels, are treated as a valued member of the family. This is because we only train a few dogs at a time. We strive for excellence at our kennel by emphasizing quality not quantity. We will provide the guidance, instruction, and motivation your canine partner needs. Whether you desire your dog to flush birds in the field, hunt waterfowl from the blind, or just have a family companion at your side. Colmorg Kennels can help you get there. TRAINING

Obedience ($900 per month) - This course covers sit, stay, come, walk on leash at heel, crate and load up. Dogs are socialized with other dogs as well as strangers. This is not just a "GunDog" course but needed for anyone who wants to be at ease with their dog in day to day life.
GunDog Programs - $1250 per month, includes birds.
Basic GunDog Program - This is usually a 4-6 month course minimum recommended age 6 months. They will learn obedience, Hold reenforcement, conditioning to gunfire, walking at heel, single mark retrieves on land and water. Also while we don't recommend utilizing the E collar, we will introduce your dog to the proper use of E collar if desired.
Seasoned GunDog Program - This level of training covers handling drills for both land and water, multiple marks, steadiness, lining drills, and hunting scenarios. This will produce a nice all purpose gun dog that can waterfowl hunt in the morning and upland hunt in the afternoon.
Advanced GunDog Program - After this training your dog will be invited to the hunt whether you are or not. They will be able to handle multiple marked retrieves as well as long land & water blind retrieves. This dog should steal the show!
Upland GunDog Program - We work with both pointing and flushing dogs, and like all of our programs, the upland program begins with basic obedience. In this program, we train for real life hunting scenarios. We work hard to ensure that a dog is steady to point, honors reliably, and is steady to wing and shot.

BOARDING

At Colmorg Kennels, we offer short term and long term boarding for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Our four legged friends are fed twice daily and our kennel is cleaned multiple times per day and sanitized. Additionally all of the dogs spend time in our large outdoor exercise areas multiple times per day. Our Kennels are on property, so there is always someone on site to tend to your dog. We only allow 2-4 boarded dogs at any time, all boarded dogs must be accompanied by up to date shots and health record.

Pricing
Daily Stay- $50 per day per dog*
More than one dog/sharing kennel $25 per dog for each additional dog*. Additionally any training done while your dog is boarding will be at an additional $50 per day
* Any dog that is from our kennels will receive a discount for boarding of $30 per day and $20 for every dog after that, as well additional training will be charged $25 per day.

UKC or AKC testing

If you would like you dog trained to run hunt tests, using hunt test as a way to separate your dog when it comes to breeding or just a way to keep your dog in shape in the off season hunt test are a great answer.

We compete with our own dogs and will gladly run yours if wanted. Entry fees and a $35 handler fee are paid by the owner whereas travel and associated costs are split between all owners whose dogs are running. We will ensure all points earned are properly registered to the appropriate dog with the governing entity. Ribbons as well as pictures will be sent home to the proud owners.
